I tend to find myself drawing a lot of "pretty" faces, so I thought it would be fun to do something completely the opposite. And it was!

This is a photoshop painting with my tablet using my original pencil sketch as a base.

EDIT: No people, this has nothing to do with the musical Wicked. Think more like the wicked witches from fairy tales, the dark, original versions of fairy tales.

looks kinda like when Anakin turned to the dark side same eyes and hood! Very nicely done

I drew this and did most of the coloring before I'd seen Ep.3 - but I can see where'd you see the resemblence. What is it with bad guys in general having the glowy, bloodshot eyes and the dark hoods? Is it part of the universal evil doers dress code? Mayb it's in the official handbook... ;)

Whoa! It looks great. I can't thnik of anything to add, but maybe put wavy grey lines alone the hair, to make it look more uneven and scraggly.

Waow that's awesome! You so rule. The only thing I could think to change is the hair slightly... it's quite bright for quite a dark picture, unless you were going for a strong contrast, which you've achieved :) I love your talent!

wow you did that b4 you seen epp 3? lol but I guess your right it does seem like every evil vilion has red burning eyes and a dark cape.
I saw epp 3 last night, but I went with a really smelly annoying guy lol so he kinda ruined the whole star wars fun luckley I didnt have to talk to him threw it ^_^
anyways again good job! :P

Yeah, something about the hair doesn't seem quite right to me still. I think I'm going to play around with your suggestion.

Thank you! I did want the hair to provide some bit of a contrast, but it doesn't quite fit into the whole image yet I think. Maybe darkening the hair would work. I think I'll play around with it some more in photoshop.

I was actually on a plane trip back from Disney World when I did the pencil sketch for this, so it's doesn't surprise me that there are some Disney influences peeking through :)
