I edited this to upload the finished version. Thanks for the feedback all - the comments from people here and over on LJ were very helpful when I was trying to decide what this needed to be complete.

Oh it's beautiful. I think the only thing I would suggest is to have her lean against something, or put something that the stairs are leading up to. Other than that it's lovely. I've always liked your work!

This is really pretty - so many textures, and yet it's not too busy. Actually, it looks very peaceful. I would say, add something small in the upper-left corner for balance. A few leaves or flowers maybe.
