Well, considering that I'm so addicted to the show, it was only a matter of time until I made some Lost fanart. And considering that this started out as kind of a spur of the moment whim, I'm rather pleased with the finished product.

Sawyer is easily my favorite character on the show. Yeah, he's a jerk half the time, but his character is really interesting and keeps becoming more interesting as the show progresses. Anti-heroes are always intriguing characters. Plus, the snarky attitude is just fun...and the pretty doesn't hurt.

I drew and inked Sawyer on watercolor paper and then painted over it with a series of ink washes. Then I scanned it and did the coloring in Photoshop with my tablet, using one of my photographs for part of the background.

I'm a new LOST fan. I know the show's been over for a while, but my roomie has the Blu-Rays and we've been watching an episode a night for the past couple of weeks. Anyway, wonderful fanart of Sawyer. The textures are wonderful, especially on his beard, and the lines around his eyes are wonderfully subtle. A nice portrayal of his constant mix of emotion.

Sawyer is cool! I always thought that he better hero than Jack, because every person have his bad sides and Jack don't have (as they showing us), but I still didn't watch 5 season, I'm waiting full story.
