Well, considering that I'm so addicted to the show, it was only a matter of time until I made some Lost fanart. And considering that this started out as kind of a spur of the moment whim, I'm rather pleased with the finished product.

Sawyer is easily my favorite character on the show. Yeah, he's a jerk half the time, but his character is really interesting and keeps becoming more interesting as the show progresses. Anti-heroes are always intriguing characters. Plus, the snarky attitude is just fun...and the pretty doesn't hurt. ;)

I drew and inked Sawyer on watercolor paper and then painted over it with a series of ink washes. Then I scanned it and did the coloring in Photoshop with my tablet, using one of my photographs for part of the background.

Looks great. I'm not a fan of the show, but I have a friend who I'm going to link to this and she'll love it. I really like the coloring on this. The splatter texture is a great effect.

This is really charming and in character portrait. I like the textures and game of light and shadow on his face. Very magnificent image! :)

...you are my H E R O. :worship: I love LOST! I've been watching it since the very beginning! :nod: And no matter what, Sawyer and Charlie have been and always will be, my absolute favorites. (No matter what evils they did. ;P ) Sawyer's so badass. The style you did it in, the techniques rendered, and the pose...they all reflect both your unique and wonderful artwork and Sawyer's own personal attitude.
You captured him w o n d e r f u l l y.
(And I'd have to agree, Sawyer is...snarky. ;) )
So overall, I think you did fantastically. :nod:
