Even the simplest of trees can serve as a fitting throne for the graceful elf queen. This is inspired by the art nouveau style of Alphonse Mucha. The drawing was done on paper, inked, scanned, and then completely colored in Photoshop. It was completed in September of 2002.

Even though this is an older drawing, it is still a favorite of mine. I've been toying around with the idea of re-doing it though, because I have learned a ton in terms of digital coloring since when I first made this.

Man, I'd love to have a dress like that too. How awesome would it be if the next trend in the fashion world was art nouveau?

When I get done with my current projects and I can afford to try, I'm so totally gonna (if it's cool with you, of course.) I'll send lots of pictures.

That'd be totally cool! And I'd love to see pictures.

Also, I was looking through your stock account and got some ideas for a piratey picture. I might be sending you a message sometime soon with a few usage questions. :ahoy:

Certainly. I love your art and can't wait to see what you'd do with my stock.

Oh my God! I saw this several years ago on another site... I had no idea you were the artist!

I had never seen Galadriel depicted like this. It's nice to see her in a more natural way than in the film.

I absolutely love this.
