Artist's Comments

This is a portrait of the Phantom (from The Phantom of the Opera) based on how Gerard Butler depicted him in the recent film. This was painted entirely in Photoshop with a tablet, using a pencil sketch I did as the base.

From January of 2005.

EDIT: Ohmygosh, I got a DD? Wow! :w00t: Thank you so much to hippyofdoom for suggesting it and subversive-imaginati for choosing it. You guys rock!

Portrait of a Phantom by *jackieocean is a stunning digital portrait. Even if you aren't a fan of the phantom of the opera there's no denying the skill that has gone into making this detailed portrait. (Suggested by ~hippyofdoom and Featured by !Subversive-imaginati)

I almost came as a shark actually, but then I realized an eagle's slightly better.

Very lovely ^^ The texture style works well, and you've captured the mood. Minor gripe is that his ear looks off, but otherwise this is wonderfully done ^^ *plays with his shirt*

and never learnt to fly.
She that she's afraid of heights
but wants to touch the sky.

** GASP** this is beautiful. Firstly, the lines, the lights, the shading, the details, it all looks so real! Secondly, the way you chose to draw him, that expression, THOSE EYES, it's all perfect.

O.O O.O Oh my lovely lovely god!!! Erik....Erik,.....oh lord me he is so handsome and beautiful. I wish he was real......*sigh* But aside from my swooning and massive love of him, I must say that when i saw this, i absolutely went insane and died almost. Its absolutely gorgeous.

Your colors are amazing, and the line work on this astounds me to the point where I am atually speechelss. I haven no words.. I mean, when i saw this, i gasped so loud that my mom came in the room and asked me if i was ok! The expression, the likeness, its absolutely amazing. This is certainly a +fav, and I intend on checking out the rest of your gallery.

Please PLEASE keep on making art as long as you can!!!
