It's been a while since I've done a self-portrait of myself that I actually like, so I thought I'd try tackling doing one in a slightly different style - it was a lot of fun to do. I used a photo that I took of myself as reference and did this all in Photoshop with my tablet.

I don't know if I even consider this a strict self-portrait, since it's so design oriented. I got the idea to make it after spending some time browsing through album cover art. But anyhow, there it is.

Oh, and since I have a feeling this question will get asked a lot, I did not draw this with vectors.

Was this done in vectors? Why isn't it in vector category?

Really nice work! You're a perty lady :) I really wish sometimes that I could draw realistically, because then I could do some decent firefly fanart..but all's I got is me cartoons.

No, I didn't draw this with vectors. I don't like to use vectors. I used my wacom tablet in Photoshop.

Vectors are all well and good, and I'm regularly impressed by the things people turn out with them. They're just not really my thing. I've done vectors in the past but never really liked how they came out.
