Another picture that came about from doing a demo for the art classes that I'm teaching for kids this summer. Watercolor with pen and ink, from July of 2005.

The full view is slightly largish, but I wanted to give people a chance to spot the little fairies and sprites. There are eight total. :)

waoh cool, I love the fact that you don't havta make a full background to make it look awsome. Just a tree, some bright colors and a white background and still look great

Thank you! And there are 8 - 2 of them have hats on and are kind of close to each other location wise. They're among the roots on the right side. They tend to show up a little bit better in person, unfortunately.

I'm a fan of the white background as well, but that's mostly because I'm not a fan of doing backgrounds.
