I made a replica of Dean's necklace for my best friend, since she's such a Dean fangirl.

The pendant is made from gold fimo clay that I sculpted to match some photos I found online of Dean's necklace. After baking it in the oven I went back and painted it with watered down black acrylic paint and watered down yellow ochre acrylic paint to make it look older. It's not an exact match to what you see on the show, but I thought it was pretty good for a first time attempt. The cord is just a simple black leather cord that I tied onto a silver interlocking loop clasp. Voila!

I still have a bunch of the fimo clay left over, so I might try it again and see if I can get a closer match. Yeah, I'm a dork. ;)

(my friend and i got some clay to make jewelry with but never really got to actually making anything with it...lol...but after seeing the stuff you made...i think i may be a bit motivated 2 making something now!)

I always wondered what his necklace looked like, it's like a mystery! But not it makes sense. I really like this. There's a lot of detail and i love how you painted it! Great job! :D
